my.NCTimes.com Q&A

These questions were posted by user scerruti in comments:

Q: There is a way to search profiles for tags. How do I add tags to my profile?
A: You can add tags by viewing your profile page (http://my.nctimes.com/yourusername), and you'll find "tag this profile" on the left side under your avatar. Tagging serves two purposes: Not only does it create a searchable keyword, but it also marks both the profile and the tag in your Favorites section, so you can easily come back to things you like. In addition, you can add keyword tags to any content (blogs, photos, videos) you create or upload.

Q: Why is there an entry Health on the main menu bar?
A: Health will be the first content-specific section we launch at my.nctimes.com. It will be an area of the site where those interested in health topics can find articles, participate in discussions, create or join groups, and find local businesses in the health industry. At this time we're working to develop this area.

Q: Why are there two links to Create New Groups on my dashboard? One of them generates an error.
A: Sorry about that! We're working to fix the error. In the meantime, you can create a group from your MY STUFF page, left side, using the link "create groups" under the "my groups" heading.

Q: How do I get a feed of all of the community posts? It may not be useful long term, but it would be nice to measure the uptake in the community?

A: At this time we do not have a feed available for that page. Every user's blog has tools that allow you to follow them via RSS or by adding to your personal News Reader. This is a great suggestion, and we'll ask our system engineers!

Thanks for the response. A quick pair of follow-up questions on profile tags;

I made a mistake when entering tags for my profile. Is there a way to remove/edit them?

How can you enter a two word tag or are tags limited to a single word?
